We will share a journey of discovery and find out together why Hampstead has, for over three centuries, been a beacon and refuge for the free thinking and a hub for the creative world. Bring your curiosity and appetite as we learn and see why Londoners still escape to Hampstead.

I’m a life long Londoner and since coming to Hampstead in 1990, I immediately fell in love with the environment, the views, the social fabric and the constant wonderment of the intricate network of streets, paths, alleyways and the history that lays behind them.
Corporate life now set aside – my days are fully engaged as a musician, cyclist, walker, father and husband and my friends and family attest to my never ending curiosity of seeing, learning and living London!

When and where can I get tickets?
Walks are scheduled 3 days a week between March-October. For more information on timings and availability please contact me via email.
Privately booked walks outside of the usual schedule can be arranged subject to availability.
How much do tickets cost?
This is a free walk which doesn’t have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, it’s suggested this be between £15 and £30 per participant.
How long does the walk take?
Walks take around 2.5 hrs and will start and finish near Hampstead Tube Station.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of people you will take on a walk?
Total group size for the walk is from 1-10 people.
Cancellation
If you cannot attend the tour, please cancel the reservation otherwise I will be waiting for you!
Weather and environment
Come rain or sun Hampstead shines in all weather and it’s mood will be different every day!
Comfortable footwear suitable for a mixed walking environment including pavements, paths, and some cobbles. The heath also has mixed paths for dog walking which I will suggest as a discovery after the tour.
Dogs are welcome.
